Sport and leisure center

The project, implemented in stages, involves the construction of a multipurpose center for leisure, an indoor pool and the associated external works, becoming part of the broader project for the redevelopment of Bonu Trau area.
The building of the multipurpose center develops longitudinally to the main road and includes a front body on which stood the large multipurpose full eight room that can be used for exhibitions, concerts, events, etc. The use of brick masonry combined with the use of colored elements helps to define the image of the building.
The swimming pool, equipped with two pools, one destined to competitive activity and the other for children and rehabilitation activities, allows to accommodate about a hundred spectators on a large tribune. The building is organized in two blocks, separated by a central gallery lighted from above, the first for the public, the second aimed to the athletes. Adjacent to the changing rooms and baths is the circular volume that houses the gym for prenatatorie activities. The entire project is designed to ensure the enlarged accessibility for persons with disabilities. The distribution in blocks is made explicit to the outside through the use of materials, colors and different treatments. In this way, the functional complexity of the building is made readable constituting a complex system that aims to reconnect the urban scale with that of the large community facilities already present.
The external arrangement, last element to be realized, is conceived so as to connect the various buildings ensuring full accessibility as well as to provide the appropriate parking areas and the right way of access to currently free areas that will be allocated to public park.
