Herzog & de Meuron designed a master pian for this area, that will also transform a series of former mine building into a holiday centre. The design aims at maintaining a figurative approach with a strong and interesting identity. Old parts have been allowed to maintain their appearance and new volumes will remodel the /averia, a buildingwhere minerals were washed clean of waste material.[From "Published with Domus 899 January 07 - Sardinia: landscapes of the future p.47"]
