SS. Annunziata hospital

The project is developed from the need to replace the old hospital, no longer adequate to the needs, with a new modern hospital without affecting the existing functionality of the building during the period of construction activities. The project explores in parallel manner the aspects related to the perception of the building and those related to health and technological aspects.
The new hospital replaces to the fragmentary image of the current buildings an unified image and high-impact, able to make it immediately identifiable. In addition to guarantee its functional efficiency, it places the individual at the center of its goals, not only for health issues, but also from the point of view of humanity. From the health point of view it is looked particularly for distributional aspects streamlining the functions and connections. The large reception area allows you to sort the flow of the public than that of the operators and to separate clearly and effectively the functions (rooms, surgeries, etc.).
From a technological point of view the project has as primary objectives maintainability, energy saving, control of the microclimate and to aseptic conditions, environmental protection and safety for users and operators. The project therefore seeks to be an expression of excellence regarding both the architectural aspects of the project, both to the advanced technologies implemented.
