Extension of a car dealership
The project involves the addition of two new floors to the existing building, currently used for services and vehicle sales, with the aim of expanding and diversifying the range of services available to users and staff. The intervention integrates harmoniously with the original architecture, respecting its volumetric articulation and enhancing the building’s distinctive semicircular shape, which gives it a dynamic and recognizable identity. The first level of the extension houses functions related to wellness and leisure — including sports areas, social spaces, exhibition zones, and facilities for children — while the second floor is dedicated to offices, meeting rooms, a cafeteria, and related support services.
Vertical circulation between levels is provided by a new external volume, characterized by transparency and visual lightness, which contains a staircase and a freight elevator capable of accommodating vehicles for special events, if needed. The use of contemporary materials and continuous glazed surfaces strengthens the dialogue between the building and its surrounding landscape, ensuring brightness and visual permeability. An open-air staircase near the main road provides direct access from the extension to the existing parking area, completing an efficient and integrated circulation system.
