Civil Protection control room
The project deals with the construction of the new headquarters for Regional Civil Protection within an existing building already partially occupied by other activities.
The proposed spatial distribution aims to avoid overload of the existing vertical connection system and to ensure maximum efficiency of connection between the different environments and the possibility of an effective and comprehensive access control.
The individual operating environments are designed according to the specific activities to be carried out, seeking, through the proper integration of architectural design, furniture and plant engineering, the maximum comfort conditions for operators that, during emergencies, will be called to extended stays at their workstations.
The project uses a carefully study in colors, materials, lighting, the dimensional characteristics of the furniture and components to reach the end result.
The entire project focuses on the concept of extended accessibility, ie the ability to ensure the self-enjoyment and safety of all the spaces to so-called vulnerable users.
