Sport center improvement
The project, which is part of a more general project aimed at fostering social aggregation through the redevelopment of leisure facilities, has the objective of adapting and upgrading an existing building originally used as a multifunctional recreational space.
The objective is to create a modular, flexible and modifiable space to be used for the simultaneous enjoyment of several sports disciplines such as weights, cardio-fitness, dance, aerobics, etc. and equipped with all the necessary service spaces.
The project deals with the building's compliance both from an energy and plant point of view, while implementing an architectural transformation that makes the building a pole of attraction for the entire local community.
The existing volume is then treated transforming it into a pure volume around which a shading system creates a porch that acts as a filter between inside and outside.
The new building will be characterized by full energy and environmental sustainability (with full implementation of CAM, energy production from renewable sources and systems for energy and water consumption containment), extended accessibility, flexibility of use (through a system of internal maneuverable walls).
