Town hall

The building is built on two floors, with square plant, around a courtyard opened on one side, thus recalling in some way the traditional courtyard typology diffused in southern Sardinia. Around the central court are the wings containing offices while on the front side is the semi-circular council chamber.
The composition of the entire building plays on the juxtaposition of recognizable volumes handled uniformly through the use of brick masonry.
The design of the central court is linked to the square thus creating an impression of a public space that leads seamlessy from outside into the town hall.
